Your personal credit report is a major factor for your purchasing needs

A personal credit report contains information about yourself and your credit history. You are responsible for the information on your personal credit report.

It is important that you understand where the information on your personal credit report comes from. Each time you complete an application to purchase furniture, a car, a mortgage, or even life insurance you are allowing this information to be submitting to the credit bureaus. This information is checked against the current information they already have on file and added to it.

Your personal credit report is then sent back to the inquiring company for a fee. The combined information is then evaluated in order for the company to decide if you are a good credit risk or not. The decision to grant you the credit you applied for is based on your credit score or Beacon Score. This is a range from 1-1000 and if you are rated below 600 you are most likely to be turned down. The accuracy of your credit report is dependant on how accurately you complete your personal information, so be sure to do it correctly each and every time.
